The Torogoz (Supercilious Eumomota), typical bird of Salvadoran fauna, is medium -sized and has a beautiful polychrome plumage. Inhabits Central America from the Yucatan Peninsula to Costa Rica, especially in the dense jungles of the tropical zone. It was declared a National Ave of El Salvador in 1999 by the Legislative Assembly, for symbolizing the family unit since the couple participates in the same way in the care of the pigeons.

This piece of glass art was handmade by artisans with the millenary technique of vitrofusion, following ecoamigable procedure and under the leadership of the Salvadoran artist Margarita Llort, pioneer of the stained glass window in El Salvador.
